Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Build Your Page with Shogun

Use Shogun’s drag-and-drop builder to create a fully custom landing page. Highlight your campaign offer, include compelling visuals and add clear CTAs, without ever touching code.

Step 2: Enable Lucky Orange Page Insights

Once your page is live, you can install Lucky Orange with just one click in the Shopify App Store. No developer needed. Simply search for the Lucky Orange app and click the Add App button to automatically install the tracking code on all of your pages.

In Lucky Orange, go to Analytics in the left navigation and select Page Insights. You'll instantly start tracking scroll depth, click behavior, frustration events, device types and page speed vitals. Page insights activates automatically on any page with Lucky Orange installed. 

Step 3: Use Lucky Orange to Analyze Visitor Behavior

Open Page Insights to see how visitors are engaging with your content and layout. This is where you’ll uncover what’s working, and what needs improvement.

  • Dig into the Activity Snapshot to review key metrics like pageviews, bounce rate, average session time, form submissions and survey responses.

Example: Let’s say your new landing page promoting a free resource has a high average session time but low form completions. Add a Lucky Orange Survey to find out why. Responses might reveal that visitors aren’t sure what they’ll get after submitting the form, some assume it’s a newsletter, and others expect an instant download. Either way, it’s clear they need more context before they’re ready to convert. 

  • Check Top Elements to see which parts of your page are getting the most clicks. This helps you understand what’s attracting attention and what might need repositioning. 

Example: Your primary CTA might be “Buy Now,” but the most-clicked item on the page is a small “Learn More” link further down the page. This tells you that visitors are looking for more details before taking action.
